Wind Turbine

The location of the new BCSC is optimum for wind power – both geographically and politically.

Therefore our plans call for the construction of a wind turbine that will function not only as an alternative source of power for the center, but will also provide an opportunity for our students to learn first-hand the benefits of wind energy. Not only is it a clean source of energy, but one which is superior to fossil fuel alternatives in many ways.

The turbine will serve to reduce the amount of electricity consumed via burning of fossil fuels and preventing the resulting greenhouse gasses to be released into the atmosphere. It is hoped that the students who have exposure to this technology today, can and will be the industry’s leaders tomorrow.
